Minyan Groves bridges the ancient wisdom of Jewish stewardship with modern environmental action. We are a community dedicated to planting intentionally sited groves that serve as living temples for prayer, reflection, and the ongoing service of human solace and ecological repair.
Our Mission & Vision
With Minyan Groves, we are dedicated to fostering a deep connection between Jewish spiritual life and environmental stewardship. Our vision is to root ancient wisdom into the soil of modern action, creating sacred spaces that restore both the soul and the earth. We aspire to see minyan groves in every community—living monuments of peace, prayer, and ecological repair—especially sited in Jewish cemeteries, JCCs, museums, and memorials.
We think every community, regardless of creed, can benefit from deeper connection with trees.

The Seed is Planted
The vision for Minyan Groves began at a ReBoot 2026 Summit, during a profound discussion on community and solidarity. Rabbi Jericho Vincent proposed that within the mystic tradition of Judaism, trees could count towards a minyan. Sarah Rose Sharp proposed that this thesis could be extended into the concrete action of planting minyan groves, promoting environmental stewardship as a form of sacred service.

A Global Vision
Today, Minyan Groves is expanding its outreach to cemeteries, memorials, and museums worldwide. Our journey continues as we invite more communities to plant groves that honor our ancestors, repair the world, and grow our collective spirit through the sacred stewardship of trees.

Spiritual Counsel
Rav Jericho Vincent is the founding rabbi of Temple of the Stranger, a Brooklyn-based Ivri community. A teacher of embodied, mystical, inclusive Judaism, Rav Jericho holds ordination from the Aleph Ordination Program and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University and recently received the 2025 Young History Maker Award from the LGBTQ Religious Archives. Their work has been recognized by the Forward 50 and the Jewish Week's 36 Under 36. They teach Torah on Instagram @thealef.
Founder & Director of Operations
Sarah Rose Sharp is a writer, multimedia artist, and environmentalist. She writes about art and culture for a number of print and online venues. Sarah was a 2015 Kresge Literary Arts Fellow for Art Criticism and is a 2018 recipient of the Rabkin Foundation Prize. She is interested in big trees, inter-species friendship, and primarily concerned with artist and viewer experiences of making and engaging with art.
Ritualist & Resident Artist
Olivia Guterson engages in an evolving multidisciplinary practice in collaboration with her ancestors through prayer, listening, divination, and working with archives. Belonging to the African and also the Jewish diaspora, an experienced displacement and dispersal is motivating and informative to her practice. As a Ritualist, the language, tools, and textural movements that uplift spatial organization strategies and technologies privileging the innate wisdom of Black women have been foundational.
Allison Erlikhman

Allison Erlikhman is currently a Vice President at The Walt Disney Studios, where she has overseen development and production for films including ALADDIN, MALEFICENT: MISTRESS OF EVIL, THE NUTCRACKER, and STARGIRL. Prior to Disney, Allison has worked at Columbia Pictures, Michael De Luca Productions, and Paradigm Talent Agency. A native Angeleno, Allison grew up loving storytelling in all forms and has an extensive background in drama and musical theater as well.

Cariwyl is an SEO and marketing consultant, multi-disciplinary creative, powerlifter, and nature lover. When she's not at her desk, you can find her hitting the steep hills of San Francisco, reading, or working on one of her many artistic endeavors. She is currently co-writing a book about deep human relationships formed by sharing meals together.

Supporting Organization
Reboot is an arts and culture non-profit that reimagines and reinforces Jewish thought and traditions, offering an inviting mix of discovery, experience and reflection. Through Reboot Studios, our media investment and development arm, we fund and produce projects in television, film, theater, podcasts, music, publishing and beyond. We also provide a variety of educational experiences and resources connected to the arts. We have launched more than 40 projects in the past three years that have engaged more than 34 million participants. Reboot Studios projects have premiered at top festivals like Tribeca, SeriesFest and HollyShorts, and been acquired by major platforms including HBO Max, The Documentary Channel and ChaiFlicks.
